School Bus, Truck, Car Involved In Central PA Crash, Trapping Driver: Firefighters

A crash involving a school bus, a truck and trailer, and a car left one person trapped at Route 372 and May Post Office Road in Eden Township, officials said.

The accident was reported at 6:54 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, prompting a response from the Quarryville Fire Department (QFD) and Lancaster EMS (LEMSA), according to QFD.

Upon arrival, firefighters removed two doors from the car to extricate the trapped victim, who sustained only minor injuries, the department said.

Fire police from QFD and the Bart Township Fire Company helped control traffic while crews secured the vehicles and cleared the scene.

The response, which included Rescue 57, Engine 572, and Traffic 57, lasted just over an hour, officials said. The crash marked QFD’s 100th call for 2025.
